Manmeet Singh Bhullar

Proud Calgarian: Born and raised in northeast Calgary with a deep commitment to volunteering, mentorship and the importance of education. He pursued higher education at Mount Royal, Athabasca, and Windsor.

Young Political Leader: Elected MLA in 2008, he was the youngest in Alberta’s 27th legislature and Canada’s first turbaned Sikh Cabinet Minister.

Community Advocate: Gave voice to the most vulnerable including children in care. Instrumental in the creation of Punjabi Community Health Services.
